5 Day Virtual Class
Keir's 5-day virtual class is a fast paced but comprehensive review for anyone who prefers a review class to tie up loose ends shortly before the exam. This class is held over 2 weekends. Study materials for this class are a separate purchase (click here to buy the class and study materials together and save money). See the CFP® Exam Review package options to purchase.
For the student who prefers to review all at once rather than over a 10-week period, we recommend the 5-day virtual class. Students in this class should complete Volumes I and II before the start of class. This is a very fast paced program. A few weeks before the class the instructor will have a Kick-Off Call to ensure students understand the class and study process. The class is typically held over two weekends, a few weeks before the exam. This gives students time to review any problem areas and complete the Keir Simulated Exam prior to exam date.
The 5-day virtual class is held from 1 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. EST. The class is interactive, students are able to ask questions and receive feedback. Students may ask the instructor questions prior to class and after class, if needed. This class is recorded, so students can repeat the discussion at later times as desired. A follow up phone conference is held a week or so before the exam to cover any last minute questions.
The study materials for this course are to be purchased seperate. Please see the CFP® Exam Review package options to purchase.
Keir Educational Resources CFP® Certification Exam Review
The objective of this course is to review the eight-core subject matter areas, focusing on key areas within the 72 Principal Knowledge Topics tested on the CFP® Certification exam. This class is conducted over 4 days, and as a reminder, this is a REVIEW course not a VIEW course.
To benefit from this review class, each participant should complete the Keir Educational Resources' Comprehensive Review for the CFP® Certification Examination Core Knowledge Books I and II along with assigned Quick Concept Videos, prior to attending class. Depending on your background knowledge, the pre-work could take up to 100 hours or more to complete.
After completing the review course you should plan on spending time reviewing the material, answering application and case questions and completing the simulated examinations. We recommend studying a minimum of 200 hours to properly prepare for the examination. If your schedule permits, we highly recommend taking some time off from work prior to the examination.
Each day there will be two 30 minute breaks and a 1 hour dinner break
