John Keir J.D.

John Keir, Chairman of the Board and Editor-in-Chief, received a B.A from Williams College and a J.D. from Villanova University School of Law. He practiced law in Philadelphia, including a federal court clerkship and public service in the District Attorney's office, before joining the company in 1989. John has been writing and editing materials for the company primarily in insurance, risk management, claims, securities law, retirement planning, and estate planning. The company particularly enjoys his humor in the company newsletter - a sense of humor inherited from the company founder Jack C. Keir, PhD, CLU, CPCU - and every once in a while you may see his humor in the study materials!
