The Examination for Series 6 License qualifies a candidate to sell mutual fund shares, variable annuities and variable life insurance.

When taking the Series 6 exam plan to spend 2 hours and 15 minutes at the testing center. The Series 6 exam is 100 multiple choice questions. The Series 6 examination covers all subject areas from your Series 6 training material in a randomized manner.

The Series 6 has no prerequisite.

Students preparing for the Series 6 examination should plan to study 40-60 hours. The national exam is 2 hours and 15 minutes in length with 100 multiple choice questions.
