• Study for approximately 30-40 hours prior to the Series 53 exam.
  • Study approximately 8 ¾ hours on Customer Accounts.
  • Study approximately 8 ¾ hours on Sales Supervision.
  • Study approximately 7 hours on New Issues.
  • Study approximately 3 ½ hours on Other Regulations.
  • Study approximately 3 ½ hours on Uniform Practice.
  • Study approximately 3 ½ hours on Trading.

• Plan to spend approximately 12-15 hours on final exams.
  
  
• Plan to sit for the Series 53 exam within 3-5 weeks.
  
  
• Score a minimum of 76-78% on all quizzes and exams before moving to the next topic.
  
  
• Read each section, then test your understanding level with the quiz provided. Review ALL questions and detailed explanations. Once you have mastered the topic you should move on to the following topic. Continue this practice through the chapter.
  
  
• When you reach the end of each chapter, utilize the final exams found in the back of the textbook.
