I passed the Series 66 exam today with a score of 90. Needless to say, I am happy with this result and most especially happy to have this licensing program completed. This result is very consistent with the advice provided by Keir which was:
Series 7 exam is a little easier than the practice tests on the website
Series 66 exam is a little more difficult than the practice tests on the website
My scores were as follows:

I felt that my preparation for the Series 66 was slightly better than the preparation for the Series 7, mainly due to the number of chapters involved with the Series 7 and the difficulty in assimilating a large volume of material in a short time with the Series 7.
The Series 66 exam was not easy, but you had warned me about the legalisms involved. I do feel that it is a fair exam, however, as it tests both knowledge of the material and specific applications. The practice tests on the website are more oriented to testing knowledge of the material. It is absolutely critical that the student actually learn the material in order to pass the Series 66. If you don't know it, you can't apply it to the examples provided. I did not have a single question that was extremely long or different to understand, but there were several questions that I felt had two right answers. If I have a concern about the test, it is to expect this to occur. The lawyers who wrote the test are looking for the best answer, and this is a matter of judgment (legal preference) in many cases. Of course if you don't pick the "best" of the two right answers, it will be scored wrong. If you get one of these questions, you just have to make your best guess and move on. I did have plenty of time to complete the test, although it did take me 135 minutes vs. about 85 minutes for each practice test. A lot of the difference was being very careful with each question, and I spent more time at the end reviewing the questions that I had individually marked than I did on the practice tests.
Feel free to share any of the above information if it will help another student.
I appreciate your support during this process, and I wish you a happy holiday season.
