About the ARM 55 Examination

ARM 54 exam is given at local Prometric Centers. Some companies are approved as testing sites, so check with their Education Department prior to scheduling the exam to determine the best location for testing.

All exams are computerized and all are scheduled for two hours.

The exam includes 85 multiple choice questions. They will include a variety of Part A questions, which involve knowledge of facts; and some Part B questions, which involve application of knowledge and quite possibly an analysis of case information. In some questions you will be asked to select the correct answer, and in others you may find the best answer. You must read all questions very carefully to note whether there may be more than one correct answer (“All of the above” might be an option), or more than one wrong answer (“All EXCEPT”). Practice of the various styles of questions is very helpful prior to taking the national exam.
