INCREDIBLE LIFE INSURANCE POLICY

I became involved in the insurance industry in 1977.  That was back when there were only two kinds of life insurance:  whole life and term.  Even though the types of policies have expanded significantly, two things have remained the same.

Life insurance is still the only product that…

1. can deliver a huge benefit for a small price.  That’s one of the amazing things about life insurance.  Imagine any other product where it is possible for someone to make even one payment (aka the premium) and guarantee that the entire death benefit is paid – without strings, by the way – to the beneficiary.  That’s why we say that life insurance can create an instant estate, and why coverage is so important for young families with limited equity.

2. will deliver the entire amount … without deductions for fees, handling or taxes.  This is unheard of elsewhere or with any other product.  Take the example of a person winning $1,000,000 in the lottery.  That means he/she will receive perhaps $500,000 or so in cash, or discounted payments of X dollars a year.  However, when one of your client’s beneficiaries receives $1,000,000 in proceeds, that person can actually receive $1,000,000.  There are zero taxes or other deductions.  One million dollars means one million dollars.        

The bottom line (and these are just two examples of what makes life insurance so terrific):  Life insurance is a unique and impressive financial tool.  When talking to your prospects and clients about their needs, be sure to talk about all the neat bells and whistles your product offers.  At the same time, however, emphasize what really makes your policy special and unlike any other financial product in the world. 

So, work hard, make money, have fun, and tell the life insurance story with enthusiasm.
